How to use?

Go to the store page here and download AMM. Overwolf will also be installed at the same time. And when you start a supported game, AMM will start automatically. You can use it as is without any special settings.

AMM doesn't start

AMM will not start if you start an unsupported game. Please check if your game is compatible.
It is also possible that AMM is not being called due to Overwolf's settings, or that Overwolf is not running in the background. Since AMM relies on Overwolf, many problems are often caused by Overwolf settings.

Which games are supported?

AMM currently supports 15 major titles, including Valorant, Apex Legends, Fortnite, PUBG, CS2, League of Legends, and Dota 2. Check the full, up-to-date list on the Supported Games page.

Audio does not play/pause automatically

In rare cases, autoplay and autopause may not work due to a bug.
I'm apologize for the inconvenience. Try "test play" and "test pause" in the AMM window and check if the song is paused. Even if the test goes well, it may not work properly in-game. Please reboot the computer once and if the issue still persists, please contact us.
Also, in "Pause" mode only Spotify, YouTube Music, and iTunes are supported — other apps may not respond to auto play/pause. Switching to "Volume" mode instead works with almost any app, since it simply adjusts the Windows volume mixer.

What's the difference between Pause mode and Volume mode?

AMM can mute your music in two ways. "Pause" pauses playback directly in supported apps like Spotify, YouTube Music, and iTunes. "Volume" instead lowers the volume of whichever app is currently playing sound, using the Windows volume mixer, so it works with almost any music app.
You can switch between them, and fine-tune the volume levels and fade duration, on the Pause/Play Volume page.

What is Pro Muter?

Pro Muter is a one-time $3 upgrade that removes ads, unlocks extra color themes, gives you access to AMM Mobile, and enables advanced in-app settings. It's a single permanent purchase, not a subscription.
You can purchase it from the Pro Muter page after logging in.

I purchased Pro Muter, but the app still shows ads

Pro Muter is tied to your account, not to the device. Make sure you're logged into AMM (in the app's Settings window) with the exact same account you used to purchase Pro Muter on the website.
If you're already logged into the right account and it's still not applied, try restarting AMM, and contact us on Discord if the issue continues.

Can I control AMM from my phone?

Yes. AMM Mobile is a companion Android app that lets Pro Muter members play/pause their PC's music remotely. An iOS version is still in development; an iOS web-app version is available in the meantime.
Learn more on the AMM Mobile page.

Can I share my trigger settings with someone else?

Yes. In the trigger settings, you can generate a share code and copy it to share with someone else, who can paste it in to apply the exact same settings. You can also export/import your settings as a file.
See the Event Settings page for details.
